Saga Origins Announces Partnerships at GDC 2025 Sidekick Showcase

The team at Saga Origins has partnerships with Super Company, OV Entertainment, Didimo and Northern Lights Entertainment as part of its Sidekick Showcase at GDC 2025.

Super Company

Saga Origins and Super Company have partnered to bring Titanus, a beloved hero from the hit mobile 3D shooter Hero Hunters, to life with AI. 

Utilizing AI-powered interactions, Titanius has the ability to engage with players and create communities with more personalized experiences for the Hero Hunters out there.

OV Entertainment

Saga Origins and OV Entertainment are collaborating to bring AI-driven characters into multiple OV titles. 

As part of this partnership AI agents will enhance community engagement by making in-game characters more interactive. 

OV Entertainment has plans to deploy Saga’s AI agents on multiple of its current titles, along with future AAA co-development projects.

Northern Lights Entertainment

Saga Origins is partnering with Northern Lights Entertainment to integrate in-game AI agents into  their their flagship political strategy game Nebulae. 

AI agents will power in-game news reports for players, each providing real-time updates and analyzing player sentiment to curate storylines tailored to one’s experience. This will also provide narrative paths that allow players to become a rebel or conduct espionage for another enemy nation.

Didimo

Saga Origins is partnering with Didimo to advance AI-powered character creation in gaming through the Popul8 platform.

Said platform enables players and developers to create, customize, and own their digital characters, NPCs, and crowds. 

Note that Popul8 is engine and platform agnostic, automating character generation to create an endless number of unique, game-ready characters – all while maintaining the game’s unique artistic style.

Hanako’s Flower Shop Launching This April

A heartfelt visual novel where one can run their very own flower shop, FantaJI Games new title Hanako’s Flower Shop is set to release this April.

Featuring the titular Hanako, players will come to learn that this young woman is at a crossroads in her life, taking on the challenge of running her grandpa’s beloved flower shop. 

From there, Hanako’s Flower Shop is slated to provide a heartwarming coming-of-age visual novel that features resource management elements. Every flower of this game tells a story, and every bouquet has the power to heal.

How To Unlock Yasuke In Assassin’s Creed Shadows

AC Shadows offers players the opportunity to play as two different protagonists, but Yasuke can take a long time to unlock if you don’t know where to look.

Once unlocked, Assassin’s Creed Shadows allows players to switch between Yasuke and Naoe via the in-game inventory screen or at the Hideout. However, players will first need to unlock Yasuke, which can be a time-consuming task.

In order to unlock Yasuke, you will need to follow Naoe’s story and finish the following, including killing some of the Onryo members.

  • Hunt down and defeat Wakasa of the Onryo
  • Assassinate The Wounded (Wada Koretake) of the Onryo
  • Complete the assault on Lord Nobunaga
  • Meet Yasuke during the assault on Lord Nobunaga’s castle
  • Return to the Hideout to form the Hidden Blades

Once you have completed those elements of Naoe’s story, you will unlock Yasuke.

Avatar Legends: Realms Collide Now Available Worldwide

Global publisher Tilting Point, together with developer AN Games and Paramount Game Studios, have released Avatar Legends: Realms Collide worldwide.

A 4X strategy game with RPG elements, Avatar Legends: Realms Collide allows players to recruit, train, and lead legendary characters as they set out to defeat Chanyu and his followers and remove Father Glowworm’s sinister threat.

Darkest Dungeon II: Free Game Mode Kingdoms Now Available on PlayStation Consoles

A new free game mode for Darkest Dungeon II, Red Hook Studios has released Kingdoms for those on PlayStation consoles.

Kingdoms brings with it a fresh, reimagined structure to Darkest Dungeon II, along with three adventure modules – starting with Hunger of the Beast Clan. 

Unlike the original Confessions mode, Darkest Dungeon II’s Kingdoms will task players with defending the realm and a network of inns against a number of powerful new enemy factions, including the ravenous beastmen.

Darkest Dungeon II is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, along with the PC and Mac via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.

In the case of the latter, note that the Kingdoms mode and Inhuman Bondage DLC for Darkest Dungeon II originally launched on PC and Mac January 27.

Elemental Platformer Virballs Full Release Now Available

A sci-fi platforming adventure fan favorites like Rachet and Clank, Kirby, and A Hat in Time, the galaxy awaits with today’s full release of Bolder Games and Chimera Studios’ Virballs.

As players set out to stop the spread of Dr. Corvid’s chaos as an Object Removal Bot (or ORB for short), Virballs will task players with cleaning up this ecological disaster through the use of virball hybrids as devastating weapons.  

Along the way, players will grab the titular Virballs with ORB’s grappler claws, fusing together elemental properties like Earth, Water, Fire, Electricity, Air, and Slime into unique hybrid weapons. 

Virballs will give players the chance to experiment with over 40 different combinations as they unlock powerful new ways to battle enemies.

This full release of Virballs brings with it all six planets, along with Dr. Corvid’s Lab.
