A new free game mode for Darkest Dungeon II, Red Hook Studios has released Kingdoms for those on PlayStation consoles.
Kingdoms brings with it a fresh, reimagined structure to Darkest Dungeon II, along with three adventure modules – starting with Hunger of the Beast Clan.
Unlike the original Confessions mode, Darkest Dungeon II’s Kingdoms will task players with defending the realm and a network of inns against a number of powerful new enemy factions, including the ravenous beastmen.

Darkest Dungeon II is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, along with the PC and Mac via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
In the case of the latter, note that the Kingdoms mode and Inhuman Bondage DLC for Darkest Dungeon II originally launched on PC and Mac January 27.
