AC Shadows offers players the opportunity to play as two different protagonists, but Yasuke can take a long time to unlock if you don’t know where to look.
Once unlocked, Assassin’s Creed Shadows allows players to switch between Yasuke and Naoe via the in-game inventory screen or at the Hideout. However, players will first need to unlock Yasuke, which can be a time-consuming task.
In order to unlock Yasuke, you will need to follow Naoe’s story and finish the following, including killing some of the Onryo members.
- Hunt down and defeat Wakasa of the Onryo
- Assassinate The Wounded (Wada Koretake) of the Onryo
- Complete the assault on Lord Nobunaga
- Meet Yasuke during the assault on Lord Nobunaga’s castle
- Return to the Hideout to form the Hidden Blades
Once you have completed those elements of Naoe’s story, you will unlock Yasuke.
