Brutal Action Platformer ChainStaff Getting Free Hard Mode Update

For those looking for an even harder challenge, a new Hard Mode has made its way to Mommy’s Best Games’ brutal action platformer ChainStaff.

ChainStaff’s Hard Mode will feature new enemy attacks, new level selections, nastier boss fights, and even a New Game+ option!

Chainstaff Hard Mode Trailer | Steam, Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch 

Director and Game Designer Nathan Fouts said the following:

“A lot of players were asking for a tougher version of ChainStaff since they’ve already beaten the game on Normal mode. 

I designed the Hard mode update to be tough, interesting, and shake up when you know about the game. 

And I don’t like “bullet sponge” updates for a “hard mode” where is just the same enemies with more health. 

That’s not the case in ChainStaff, enemies go down the same as before, but they attack in new ways!” 

ChainStaff is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S,  Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
