Crossword Puzzle Adventure Rita Launching July 30

Providing a cozy crossword adventure, SporkTank’s Rita is set to release for the PC via Steam July 30.

Featuring a little chicklet, Rita tasks players with solving word-based puzzles as they transform her surrounding world. 

Rita also features light MetroidVania mechanics, along with bite-sized puzzles.

SporkTank said the following:

“It’s hard to believe this moment has arrived, but it’s also hard to believe it’s been two and a half years since this project started. 

I couldn’t be more excited to bring my cozy puzzle adventure to the world. The heart of this game really is a tribute to my grandmother. 

We did puzzles and played many word games together, I’m excited that players can experience some of the joy I experienced by doing these things with her.”

SporkTank added:

“The puzzles are not just vanilla word puzzles though, I’m equally as excited for players to experience the variety of puzzles and the many “a ha” moments that come from them. 

I believe this game hits the studio’s mark of “Games To Get You Thinking”, you know, just the right amount of “puzzle”.”
