Psychological Horror Title BrokenLore: UNFOLLOW Now Available

A first-person psychological horror game that explores the impact of social media on one’s mental health, the world of Serafini Productions and Shochiku’s BrokenLore: UNFOLLOW is now available for PC and consoles.

BrokenLore: UNFOLLOW puts players the shoes of Anne, a victim of bullying that finds herself trapped in a surreal nightmare. From there, Anne will set out to solve a dark mystery as she comes to terms with her past’s most painful choices.

Developer Sebastiano Serafini said the following:

“Throughout the series, I have always pursued horror experiences rooted in social issues. My goal is not simply to surprise players with jump scares, but to create a fear that lingers like an ‘aftertaste’ long after the game is over.

UNFOLLOW is a project deeply personal to me; it was the first concept I planned when I established the studio four years ago. Themed around the darkness of social media, I reflected heavily on my own experiences working as an influencer and the real conflicts faced by the friends who appear in the game. I hope players will feel the unique anxiety and fear of modern society through their immersion in the protagonist.

Having been influenced by Japanese culture and horror works since I was young, I expect future works will increasingly feature Japanese-related direction. I hope you use this title as an entry point to try other works in the series. Please look forward to our future developments.”

BrokenLore: UNFOLLOW is now available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store – one can learn more about the title via its official website.

Vindictus “Momentum” Winter Update Live

The team at NEXON has released the massive new “Momentum” Winter update for their action RPG Vindictus, bringing with it the new “Hero’s Path” and “Hero’s Leap” growth systems that help ease character growth and raid entry for players.

As part of Vindictus’ “Momentum” Winter Update, players can enjoy the following content:

  • Fresh Growth Systems – The aforementioned “Momentum” update for Vindictus brings with it the “Hero’s Path” and “Hero’s Leap” systems:
    • “Hero’s Path” – This system removes unnecessary elements, all while streamlining gameplay flow. This, in turn, allows Vindictus players to focus purely on combat with equipment stats automatically balanced and skills acquired progressively with each growth stage.
    • “Hero’s Leap” – To help Vindictus players more easily challenge high-level raids after level 115, “Hero’s Leap” missions are divided into four categories: Growth, Deployment, Town, and Challenge. This, in turn, allows for Vindictus players to systematically learn the item system, growth mechanics, and battle structure.

As part of this Vindictus update, the new “Shadow Citadel” battle content Shadow Citadel is now available, ready and waiting for players to test their skills.

Catch up on all the nitty-gritty around this Vindictus “Momentum” update via its official website.
