Action Sidescroller Adventure Ra Ra BOOM Now Available

Homework can wait – four-player co-op action awaits with today’s release of Gylee Games’ lane-based 2D sidescroller Ra Ra BOOM for PC and consoles.

Hailing from outer space, Ra Ra BOOM has ninja cheerleaders Aris, Saida, Ren, and Vee practicing their right to bear arms.

On that note, Ra Ra BOOM arms every character with a ranged weapon, leading to shooting action that seamlessly blends with its frenetic melee combat for when its time to get up close and personal.

Haunted Bloodlines Overhauled Demo Now Available

Step into an atmosphere drenched in psychological dread with Horrified Triangles, Iphigames, and Serafini Productions’ first-person psychological horror title Haunted Bloodlines with a new overhauled demo for the title.

A first-person psychological horror game, Haunted Bloodlines plunges players into a mansion that has been cursed by a legacy of grief, guilt, and madness. 

Taking control of a reluctant heir to a blood-soaked past, one must explore this decaying, ever-shifting estate with no weapons and limited sanity.

Cozy Platformer Dono’s Tale Launching Next Year

Inspired by the 16- and 32-bit era greats, Super Item Studios announced that their cozy platformer Dono’s Tale is set to launch next year.

Starring the titular bowtie-wearing dragon protagonist Dono, Dono’s Tale will have players jumping, dashing, climbing, and shooting through seven detailed and colorful worlds as they collect precious fruit.

Super Item Studios developer Dagoberto “Dago” Duarte said the following:

“Dono’s Tale is a love letter to the 2D Platformers I grew up with.

Specifically, I was inspired by favorites like Yoshi’s Island, Mega Man X, Donkey Kong Country, and even some more obscure titles like Astal and Silhouette Mirage. 

Dono’s fast-paced gameplay takes inspiration from speedrunning and fighting games like Super Smash Bros Melee, Super Mario 64, Street Fighter Alpha 2, and even Devil May Cry, while some of the graphical elements and color palettes are influenced by other media such as the Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure series. 

As to our creative process, we revisit our favorite scenarios, break down what made them so fun and memorable, and reimagine those elements in a new way. 

The result is a game that feels both nostalgic and familiar, yet new and full of surprises.

We hope you enjoy it!”

Dono’s Tale is slated to release in early 2026 on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC (via Steam, GOG, and itch.io), PlayStation 5, and Xbox.

High-End Action-Adventure Woochi the Wayfarer Announced

A blockbuster action-adventure depicting the adventures of the Dosa Jeon Woochi, NEXON Games and developer LoreVault Studio have unveiled Woochi the Wayfarer.

A high-end single-player title, Woochi the Wayfarer will transport players to Korea’s Joseon era as they experience an original story inspired by the classic Korean novel “The Tale of Jeon Woochi.” 

Powered by Unreal Engine 5, Woochi the Wayfarer will also pay host to a colorful and emotional soundtrack that has been inspired by traditional Korean music. 

Lending his talents to the title is acclaimed composer Jung Jae-il, who previously worked on the soundtracks of the film Mickey 17 and the Squid Game series.

Park Yong-hyun, NEXON Games CEO, said the following:

Mind-Bending Puzzler Orbyss Demo Live

Inspired by incredible works like Portal and Tron, Misty Whale has released a new demo for their logic-based puzzle game Orbyss. 

Taking control of a firefly of energy, Orbyss has players navigating from Orb to Orb as they give each of them them life.

Along the way, Orbyss will task players with solving puzzles as they set out  to revive the mysterious universe that surrounds them.

PAX West 2025 Bandai Namco Line-Up Featuring Digimon, Towa, Code Vein II, and More

Packing your bags for Seattle in the coming weeks for PAX West 2025? Bandai Namco is waiting for you, bringing heavy hitters like Digimon Story Time Stranger, Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree, Code Vein II, and many others to the event.

DIGIMON STORY TIME STRANGER 

One will be able to journey through time and worlds as an agent of the secret group ADAMAS in Digimon Story Time Stranger as they set out to unravel the mystery of the world’s collapse. 

PAX West 2025 attendees can play the Digimon Story Time Stranger demo at the event to explore the Digital World of the Digimon for the first time, engage in a boss battle, and earn cool collectible swag.

Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree

An upcoming 2D isometric roguelite from Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. and Brownies Inc., Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree will let players forge weapons and bonds in its first consumer demo at the event. 

Taking control of the titular Towa, players can lead the guardians of the sacred tree in epic battles against Magatsu’s forces to determine the future of Shinju Village.

MY HERO ACADEMIA: All’s Justice

PAX West 2025 attendees can be one of the first to play My Hero Academia: All’s Justice at PAX West 2025. 

Players can take control of one’s favorite characters from Class 1-A, experiencing “ONE LAST SMASH” as they battle through opponents in 3v3 battles and engage in the climactic clash between hero and villain.

LITTLE NIGHTMARES III

The disturbing world of the Nowhere awaits in an updated show demo of Little Nightmares III at PAX West 2025.

This demo for Little Nightmares III features a new level that will let players face one’s fears – an exclusive promotional giveaway also awaits for those who pay a visit.

PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC

The PAX West 2025 demo of PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC lets players choose between one of two available levels.

No matter what one chooses, players can jump, Rev Roll, and Super Butt Bounce as they experience this title’s modern graphics, expanded levels, quality of life improvements, and voice acting.

SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream

The PAX West 2025 demo for Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream DLC 4 features newly added playable characters Mito and Cat Alice.

As an added perk, those that experience the PAX West 2025 demo can walk away with exclusive badge ribbon designs, including one inspired by last year’s fan-favorite lofi playlist art.

CODE VEIN II

Code Vein II will let players immerse themselves in a post-apocalyptic world at PAX West 2025 with its playable demo.

A photo op featuring a life-size replica of the Motorcycle Forma will also be at the event – attendees can strike a pose for a collectible photo.

Alternatively, PAX West 2025 attendees can use a special camera to create a sharable custom video with special effects.

THE BLOOD OF DAWNWALKER

Finally, players can step into The Blood of Dawnwalker at PAX West 2025, an upcoming dark fantasy RPG from Rebel Wolves,

Featuring a land where vampires have seized their opportunity as war and the Black Plague ravages 14th Century Europe, one can also capture a memorable photo op at the Blood Mass. Note that this activation is located in space #N8 in the North Lobby at the Seattle Convention Center.
