The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies Expansion Pack Now Available

The crafty town of Nordhaven awaits with today’s release of The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies Expansion Pack.

As part of this expansion to The Sims 4, players will be able to start a small business to show off one’s crafty creations – and rake in the Simoleons to boot.

New to The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies Expansion Pack is the Tattooing skill, along with the Pottery skill (complete with Pottery Wheel).

Charming Platformer MainFrames Now Available

A platformer that plays out entirely within the windows and desktop of a PC monitor, a charming adventure awaits with today’s release of Assoupi and The Arcade Crew’s MainFrames.

A “byte-sized adventure,” MainFrames will have players joining the adventurous program Floppy as they set out  to find their place in the digital world.

Along the way, players will have to contend with cheeky daemons, along with a maze of diverse PC frames. MainFrames will also have players meeting a cast o quirky and colorful characters, and will also be able to uncover secrets that bring Floppy closer to piecing together their function.

MainFrames is currently available for the PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch, with a 25% introductory discount through March 13.

Frost Fatales 2025 Returning March 9

Set to kick off March 9, Games Done Quick’s women and femmes winter speedrunning event Frost Fatales will make its return on Twitch with a number of major events.

Featuring a speedrunning community of women and femmes, Frost Fatales is an online event bringing together speedrunners worldwide to showcase their skills and raise money for the National Women’s Law Center. This non-profit fights for gender justice, working across the issues central to the lives of women and girls.

Some of the highlights of Frost Fatales 2025 this year include the following:

  • A “girl squad” 3-way race of Final Fantasy X-2 using all female characters
  • Sonic X Shadow Generations as a bonus game
  • A one-handed Celeste Any% closing run

Other titles making their appearance at Frost Fatales 2025 include Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, House Flipper 2, Mega Man, and The Legend of Zelda – scope out the full schedule via the official website.

Frame Fatales events have raised more than $1 million for charity since 2019, with last year’s Frost Fatales marathon raising $155,000 for the National Women’s Law Center.

Monster Hunter Now Season 5 Now Available

Season 5 of Niantic and Capcom’s Monster Hunter Now is here, bringing with it the arrival of Glavenus and Arzuros, new skills, and performance enhancements for certain weapons and skills.

As par of this season, both Glavenus and Arzuros will make their debut in Monster Hunter Now. 

In addition, Hunters will be able to further customize their playstyle with brand-new skills. For instance,  Shared Sword will grant players extra attack strength during group hunts, while Raw Power sets out to increase attack power by sacrificing weapon affinity. 

Finally, completing Monster Emergence Quests will allow monsters from past seasons to reappear in the field.
