Set to kick off March 9, Games Done Quick’s women and femmes winter speedrunning event Frost Fatales will make its return on Twitch with a number of major events.
Featuring a speedrunning community of women and femmes, Frost Fatales is an online event bringing together speedrunners worldwide to showcase their skills and raise money for the National Women’s Law Center. This non-profit fights for gender justice, working across the issues central to the lives of women and girls.
Some of the highlights of Frost Fatales 2025 this year include the following:
- A “girl squad” 3-way race of Final Fantasy X-2 using all female characters
- Sonic X Shadow Generations as a bonus game
- A one-handed Celeste Any% closing run
Other titles making their appearance at Frost Fatales 2025 include Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, House Flipper 2, Mega Man, and The Legend of Zelda – scope out the full schedule via the official website.
Frame Fatales events have raised more than $1 million for charity since 2019, with last year’s Frost Fatales marathon raising $155,000 for the National Women’s Law Center.
