gamehuntersupdatetipsandtricshub: Nacon Smashing World Firsts With New Revolution 5 Unlimited PS5 Controller

A leading designer of premium gaming accessories, Nacon has announced their brand-new Revolution 5 Unlimited (R5U) – a world’s first for an officially licensed PlayStation 5 controller.

Following 2023’s fantastic Nacon Revolution 5 Pro, the Revolution 5 Unlimited is shaping up to be one of the most advanced accessories yet for both the PlayStation 5 and PC.

Nacon Smashing World Firsts With New Revolution 5 Unlimited PS5 Controller

Building upon its premium asymmetric design, the Revolution 5 Unlimited features several major hardware innovations with the inclusion of a built-in control screen. This, in turn, provides players immediate adjustments to various settings without leaving one’s game. Options that can be changed on the fly include audio mixing, joystick sensitivity, and shortcut mapping.

The Revolution 5 Unlimited also serves as Nacon’s first TMR (Tunneling Magnetoresistance) controller, providing significant improvements to reliability, reduced power consumption, and no threat of stick drift.

The trigger blockers – one of my favorite features of the Revolution Pro 5 – also return, providing players immediate feedback for quick aiming and shooting in the most competitive of games. Also included are remappable shortcut buttons and advanced software tools for maximum responsiveness and precision.

Another first for Nacon is the inclusion of a dedicated charging dock, with space to contain all accessories included with the Revolution Pro 5 Unlimited.

The controller also includes the following compatibility modes:

Support for the PlayStation 5, PC, and Android Smart TVs
Dedicated PC mode featuring 1ms latency with advanced features supported via mobile app

Yannick Allaert, Director of the Accessories Division at NACON, said the following:

“With the Revolution 5 Unlimited, NACON demonstrates its ability to set new standards in the competitive gaming peripherals segment.

By combining a built-in control screen and TMR technology on an officially licensed PlayStation asymmetric controller, we are giving competitive and demanding players a state-of-the-art instrument, backed by years of expertise within the Group.”

Guided by passion & expertise, the new PS5/PC benchmark has arrived: Nacon R5U.
