Shadowgate 64 Chaos Magic Edition Randomizer Released

An open-source item randomizer, Conjuror of Code Grayson Wendell has released the Shadowgate 64 Chaos Magic Edition Randomizer.

As part of this Shadowgate 64 randomizer, shuffling modes include “Static books,” “Shuffle books separately,” “Shuffle books,” and “Shuffle books without logic.”

On that note, items in this randomizer are shuffled with gameplay logic in place. This, in turn, makes sure they are available before required for progression.

Modifications made as part of this Shadowgate 64 randomizer include careful code edits/additions, a shuffled item look-up table, and ROM header checksum updates totaling around 300 bytes.

Catch up on the finer details around the Shadowgate 64 Chaos Magic Edition Randomizer and download it via its official Github page.

Known for his work at Sleepy Bits Games (check out Old Oak Lane!), those feeling social can follow Grayson Wendell via his Twitter/X and Bluesky channels.
