The First Descendant Ultimate Yujin Guide Released

Looking to get up to speed on NEXON’s The First Descendant’s Ultimate Yujin? From unlocking Ultimate Yujin to key details revolving around the Ultimate version differs from the standard Yujin character, get up to speed with our guide.

When it comes to the story of The First Descendant’s Ultimate Yujin, it is set to explore a narrative that is centered on what truly defines humanity. 

Sharing a similar tone to that of Sharen’s storyline, The First Descendant players will be able to acquire Ultimate Yujin’s research blueprints from the new dungeon Forbidden Sanctuary, which is accessible through Forbidden Sanctuary Infiltration Operations.

Scope out the nitty-gritty around Forbidden Sanctuary Infiltration Operations below;

  • A research facility of the Order of Truth discovered within Axion.
  • Accessible through the Infiltration Operations menu, just like the Supermassive Receptor dungeon.
  • Party-size scaling has been newly adjusted to refine multiplayer difficulty
  • Difficulty is designed around multiplayer first, then tuned for solo players
  • The new boss is Abandoned Fusion Form, which features toxic attacks
  • Players can also obtain the new Trigger Modules and receive an Ancestors Module as a weekly completion reward

Ultimate Yujin differentiates itself with Improved buff performance, thereby compensating for Yujin’s lower firepower with stronger ally damage amplification. All those that check out Ultimate Yujin will be able to tap into new movement speed buff and overall enhancements to skill usability.

Skill-wise, “Skill 2 – Restructure Serum” now reduces enemy Critical Resistance. Meanwhile, 

“Skill 3 – Stimulant Spray” and “Skill 4 – Hyperreactive Healing Ground” grant fellow allies increased Critical Hit Chance and Critical Damage.

Two Exclusive Transcendent Modules are included with The First Descendant’s Ultimate Yujin – scope them out below:

  • Combat Protocol – Build Concept: Enables a new combat approach where he expends his HP to inflict skill damage and recovers it through the strategic use of buffs and debuffs.
  • Battlefield Medic – Build Concept:  Enables Yujin to restore allies’ HP from a distance while inflicting skill damage on enemies, significantly enhancing his usability as a support descendant. As he applies more buffs to his allies, he gains additional strength himself, making him a supporter capable of raising the party’s overall potential.

Finally, The First Descendant players can take advantage of the Premium Skin “Extreme Savior.” Engineered by Deslin, this serves as a protective suit to keep Ultimate Yujin safe from injury during rescue missions.

The First Descendant is available to download for the PlayStation 5, the Xbox Series X|S, and the PC via Steam.
