Honkai: Nexus Anima New Closed Beta Beginning July 9

The team at HoYoverse announced that Honkai: Nexus Anima is set to launch its “Evolution Test” Closed Beta test on July 9.

The latest entry in the Honkai series, Honkai: Nexus Anima is set to further expand its core gameplay and narrative content during its upcoming Evolution Test.

On that note, participants will be able to experience new characters, Anima, regions, and gameplay systems that all provide a richer adventure experience.

Ninjala 2: The Uncharted Planet Coming to Anime Expo 2026

Set to happen early next month, GungHo Online Entertainment America has announced their lineup of titles at Anime Expo 2026 – including the first public demo of Ninjala 2: The Uncharted Planet! 

Located at West Hall booth #2316, Anime Expo 2026 attendees will be able to get hands-on time with Ninjala 2: The Uncharted Planet. Those who play this open-world adventure can get themselves an inflatable bat modeled after the game’s IPPON Katana!

Those that check out GungHo’s Anime Expo 2026 booth can also take part in a prize giveaway. By following GungHo on social media and/or completing select tasks at their booth, they can get the chance to win prizes that include a Nintendo Switch console.

GungHo will also feature a line of merchandise across Ninjala 2, Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, and Puzzle & Dragons at Anime Expo 2026.

Universa Coming to Invincible VS June 30

One of its first DLC fighters, Universa will join Skybound and Quarter Up’s brutal three-on-three fighter Invincible VS on June 30.

A balanced, technical fighter, Universa’s power grows increasingly dangerous as her Boost Meter rises. She features a number of unique combos and devastating boosted Specials.

Part of the Year 1 Character pass, Unviersa will be available to play in Invincible VS’ Training Mode before purchase!

Evo 2026 attendees can get some hands-on time with Universa at the Invincible VS booth at the event, happening in Las Vegas, Nevada from June 26 to June 28. 

Invincible VS will also be part of the Evo main stage throughout the weekend, with the sole winner crowned June 28 and claiming for themselves a life-sized Conquest Gauntlet trophy.

Invincible VS is available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Xbox on PC.

Chaos Zero Nightmare Season 3 “Starry Night” Update Live

The team at Smilegate is bringing Chaos Zero Nightmare’s Galactic Disaster Season 3 to its conclusion with its new  “Starry Night”  story chapter.

Serving as the third chapter of the Season 3 storyline, Chaos Zero Nightmare’s “Starry Night” focuses on the galaxy’s greatest idol Tenebria.

After a major incident unfolds, the protagonist (aka the Captain) and the crew aboard the SS Nightmare will enlist in a battle that will determine the fate of the SS Edenity vessel. 

As part of “Starry Night,” Chaos Zero Nightmare players will be able to experience this new story and Chaos content to earn special currency, which can then be exchanged for “Core” items that allow Save Data editing alongside Signal Amplification Anchors and growth materials.

This new Chaos Zero Nightmare update also brings the new Jukebox system to the title. Accessible via the lobby, said Jukebox will allow players to freely listen to over 60 Chaos Zero Nightmare tracks.
