Thief: The Dark Project Remastered Revealed at PC Gaming Show

A modern revival of Looking Glass Studios’ groundbreaking 1998 stealth classic, Nightdive Studios, Eidos-Montréal, and Atari today announced Thief: The Dark Project Remastered at the PC Gaming Show.

Setting an early foundation of “pure stealth” gameplay, Thief rewards a slower, more deliberate approach. 

Players will use both light and sound to stay hidden or misdirect enemies. When required, Thief also provides signature ferocious moments of violence that remain hidden in the shadows.

Thief Remaster premiere – PC Gaming Show 2026

Stephen Kick, CEO at Nightdive Studios, said the following:

“Thief didn’t just introduce stealth mechanics, it defined them.

With this remaster, we’ve preserved the tension and intelligence of the original while enhancing it for modern players, ensuring that its legacy continues to influence how stealth games are played today.”

This remaster ensures a new generation can experience what made it so influential, and we’re proud to see it treated with such care.”

Thief: The Dark Project Remastered will launch for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Play Anywhere, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG this winter.

An official Summer Game Fest Community Spotlight Showcase, the inaugural Gayming Pride Parade featured LGBTQ+ games, developers, and community organizations in a digital Pride parade that celebrated queer creativity across gaming.

Produced by and benefiting the Gayming Foundation and sponsored by Logitech G and Fireshine Games, this showcase featured LGBTQ+ games, developers, and community organizations in a digital Pride parade.

Little Nightmares III The Backstage DLC Launching June 12

Launching as part of the Secrets of The Spiral Expansion Pass, The Backstage DLC for Supermassive Games and Bandai Namco’s Little Nightmares III will release June 12.

As part of this new Little Nightmares III adventure, Low will meet the new child Dime. Wearing a torch hat, they possess a helpful tool for finding their way in what lies beneath the curtains of The Carnevale. 

From there, The Backstage will live up to its name by having the two children facing new threats and using their light to save Alone from the hands of the Puppeteer.

Alien: Isolation 2 Revealed at Summer Game Fest

Revealed at Summer Game Fest earlier today, Creative Assembly and SEGA have announced that Alien: Isolation 2 is now in development.

Featuring a new setting, story, and protagonist, Alien: Isolation 2 features a new adventure alongside the same deadly tension that put the original survival-horror experience on the map.

A narrative-driven single-player experience, Among Us Story: On Guard reimagines its themes of trust, deception, and survival through a focused story campaign. 

Taking players enter a controlled simulation at MIRA R&D as part of the new Crewmate training program, Among Us Story: On Guard will have players taking on the role of Guard as they maintain order and ensure the crew reaches its destination safely.
