Orchestral Soundtracks 2026 Spring Concert Coming to San Diego May 23

Taking place May 23 at San Diego’s Canyon Crest Academy, Orchestral Soundtracks is partnering with Scarlet Moon for the Orchestral Soundtracks 2026 Spring Concert.

As part of its setlist, throwback pieces from The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, ballads from Final Fantasy and Arcane, and fan-favorites from NieR and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End will make an appearance.

This year’s event will also include San Diego’s game music record labels Scarlet Moon Records and Streaming Arrow Records.

Held at San Diego’s Canyon Crest Academy (Google Maps link for convenience!), doors will open at 6:30pm PT for seating, with the performance beginning at 7pm PT.

OST co-founder Charles Li said the following:

“OST came together through a mutual love for music from games and anime, and we wanted to create a space to rehearse and perform together.

The musicians have diverse backgrounds, including those who are classically trained, self-taught, have played their instrument their whole lives, or are learning a new one. 

Some of our favorite soundtracks are those of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, FINAL FANTASY, NieR, and Xenoblade Chronicles. 

We also enjoy pieces from the Hoyoverse games and Ghibli films.”

Free Angry Birds Content Drop Now Available in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds

Flying sky-high this Wednesday, SEGA has dropped their free Angry Birds content update for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.

True to series from, the iconic Red from Angry Birds is now a playable character in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. Red’s vehicle – the Super Roaster – is available, along with special emotes and sounds.

Rounding things out are the songs “Go! Theme,”“Go! Theme (Final Lap),” and “Angry Birds Theme” to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds’ jukebox.

Also coming to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds at a later date is Like a Dragon’s Goro Majima (as Captain Majima) and Puyo Puyo’s Arle.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, the Nintendo Switch, the Nintendo Switch 2 (digitally and physically), and the PC.

MONGIL: STAR DIVE Now Available on PC and Mobile Platforms

Letting players tame the Unknown and Dive into Wonder, Netmarble’s monster-taming action RPG MONGIL: STAR DIVE is now available on both PC and mobile platforms.

A reimagining of the 2013 collectible RPG Monster Taming, MONGIL: STAR DIVE features cinematic storytelling and dynamic real-time combat based around a three-character tag system. 

MONGIL: STAR DIVE also features the “Monsterling Collection” system, which supports the capture, collection, and synthesis of monsters for strategic depth.

Celebrating its launch, MONGIL: STAR DIVE will feature a number of in-game events related to Monster capturing, Boss battles, Bounty missions, Rift challenges and more. 

Rewards upon completion include Compass of Promise summoning tickets, Special Gold Upgrade Stone 5★ Monsterling upgrade materials, and Monsterling Chests.

MONGIL: STAR DIVE is now available for the PC (downloadable via its official website and the Epic Games Store), along with mobile devices (via both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store).

PRAGMATA Launch Trailer Released

A new sci-fi action adventure packing a hacking twist, Capcom has released a launch trailer for PRAGMATA ahead of its April 17 release.

Following the journey of Hugh and the young android Diana, PRAGMATA will task these two with navigating a lunar facility that has been taken over by rogue AI as they set to find a way back to Earth.

PRAGMATA is set to release for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam April 17.

Piano & Sleep: Mario Galaxy Now Available

A soothing, sleep-friendly listening experience featuring the sweeping orchestral scores of Super Mario Galaxy, GameChops and Producer Curly’s Piano & Sleep: Mario Galaxy is now available across all major music platforms.

Now available on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon, Piano & Sleep: Mario Galaxy turns a number of songs from Super Mario Galaxy titles originally composed by Koji Kondo and Mahito Yokota into soft, intimate piano lullabies.

Produced by GameChops, this album was mastered by Dj Cutman, with Evynn Alanna providing the cover illustration. 

Tom “Curly” Thomas reflected:

“I was around at just the right time to still be an impressionable kid when the Wii came out, so the Super Mario Galaxy games naturally have a place in my heart.

Despite being so familiar with the games and having been playing the piano for decades now, making piano lullabies out of big and sometimes very intense orchestral scores was more challenging than expected!

Giselle Fernandez Fire & Ice RGX 2026 Guest of Honor

The current voice of Princess Daisy and Baby Daisy in the Super Mario franchise, Giselle Fernandez will be a Guest of Honor at Fire & Ice RGX 2026 this summer.

Starting with Super Mario Bros. Wonder in 2023 (we gave it a perfect 100/100 ourselves!), Giselle Fernandez voices both Princess Daisy and Baby Daisy in other hits like Super Mario Party Jamboree, Mario Kart World, and Mario Tennis Fever. 

Other notable video game roles include Milio in League of Legends, Ellen Joe in Zenless Zone Zero, and Tweyen in Granblue Fantasy: Relink.

Fire & Ice RGX 2026 is being held at the Roebbelen Center @TheGrounds in Roseville, CA the weekend of June 20 to June 21 – Google Maps link for convenience! 

Guests of Honor for Fire & Ice RGX 2026 – which include Voice Actors, Musicians, Content Creators, and Industry Talent – will be revealed every Tuesday and Thursday leading up to the June event.
