Blipbug Coming to Pokémon GO During Bug Out Event

Starting March 17, Blipbug will make its debut in Niantic’s Pokémon GO as part of next month’s Bug Out event.

From March 17 at 10am to March 23 at 8pm (local time), Galar region Pokémon Blipbug, Dottler, and Orbeetle will make their Pokémon GO debuts as part of Bug Out.

Trainers will be able to use 25 Blipbug Candy to evolve Blipbug into Dottler, and 100 Blipbug Candy to evolve Dottler into Orbeetle.

Note that during the Bug Out event, different Pokémon attracted to regular Lure Modules. In particular, Paras, Combee, and Cutiefly that are attracted to regular Lure Modules will have an increased chance to be Shiny.

2.5D Roguelike Beat-’em-Up Roguelike Mexican Ninja Coming to Consoles

The world of Nuevo Tokyo is growing that much bigger with the release of Mad Bricks and Amber Studios’ 2.5D Roguelike Beat-’em-Up Mexican Ninja for both PlayStation and Xbox consoles this year.

Mexican Ninja will come out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, on top of the PC via Steam.

New to Mexican Ninja? 

Featuring a fever-dream that combines Mexican grit with Japanese cyberpunk, Mexican Ninja will transport players to Nuevo Tokyo and its world that is ruled by the corrupt Narkuzas.

Roguelite Bullet Hell Shooter PASS THE FEAR Steam Next Fest Demo Live

Featuring limited gear – but unlimited possibilities! – PlayMud Studio and Paras Games have released a new Steam Next Fest demo for their roguelite bullet-hell shooter PASS THE FEAR.

Tasking players with finding the perfect build for one’s playstyle, PASS THE FEAR allows one to play their way as they combine traits, modifiers, and affixes across four characters, 30 weapons and parts, over 170 relics and more than 22 Tarot cards.

Now available via its official Steam page, this new demo for Pass The Fear features the silver-haired and red-eyed Demon Hunter Elena, along with the Beast Tamer Boss and a Multiplayer Lobby feature in beta.

Fantasy Visual Novel Utopia: Birth of the Heroes Steam Next Fest Demo Live

Just in time for Steam Next Fest, an expanded demo of Mana Core Game Studios’ fantasy visual novel Utopia: Birth of the Heroes is now available.

Following the intertwined stories of brothers Diomedes Morgan, Frederick Marcus, and Eskil Ilhamy, Utopia: Birth of the Heroes features a war‑torn medieval fantasy realm in what amounts to an immersive experience.

As part of this new Steam Next Fest Demo, players will be treated to the moral dilemmas, challenging choices, and character‑driven storytelling of Utopia: Birth of the Heroes Chapters 0–5. Support for both English and Spanish in‑game text has been included as well.

During Steam Next Fest through March 3, fans can also watch the developers behind Utopia: Birth of the Heroes play through the demo via the title’s official Steam store page. 

Not only will viewers be treated to commentary from the Mana Core Game Studios team, one can also expect appearances from special guests.
