DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined Demo Now Available

Featuring an adventure that crosses seas and transcends time, a free demo of Square Enix’s DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined is now available for PC and consoles.

Note that DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined adventures that have demo saved data on their console will be able to continue their journey in the full game, and also receive Maribel’s “Day Off Dress.”

EA SPORTS FC 26 Team of the Year Voting Live

Inviting fans to choose the top standout players across EA SPORTS FC 26 and FC Mobile, EA SPORTS FC 26 Team of the Year voting is officially live.

Voting is now live for the Team of the Year XI across via its official website and in-game. In addition, beginning January 9, fans can also cast their vote via the EA SPORTS FC suite of social media channels.

The EA SPORTS FC 26 Team of the Year awards is also set to see the return of the 12th Player, giving the community the chance to help honour a standout performer from 2025 who missed out on inclusion in the Best XI. 

On that note, voting for the 12th Player will open in-game (via both console and PC) from January 17 to January 20. The winners will then be announced January 23.

Manuel Neuer, FC Bayern München captain and goalkeeper, commented: 

“It’s great to be among the EA SPORTS FC Team of the Year nominees again. Team of the Year is iconic – and we as players love the fact it’s voted for by the fans. Hopefully they decide I deserve to be in the best XI!”

Ewa Pajor, Poland National Team captain and striker, also said the following:

“Team of the Year is built by the fans. 

That’s why we love it as players. 

This has been a special year – captaining my country at our first major tournament was an honour, and this nomination means a lot to me. 

Thanks to all the fans for their support this year, and my amazing national team and club teammates who’ve made it all possible!”

Trinity Rodman, Washington Spirit and USWNT international also saidsaid:

“Team of the Year is such a cool campaign because it puts the power in the hands of the fans. 

I’m super proud to have been nominated for these awards three times in a row. Now my fans can have their say, and I hope they vote for me to be in the final lineup for the first time!”

Marc Guéhi, Crystal Palace and England centre-back, also commented:

“It’s been a special year for myself, for the club – I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved. I hope the fans know that we all appreciate them, and it’s an honour to be nominated for the Team of the Year.”

Developed by Lizard Smoothie and published by NEOWIZ, the indie roguelite Shape of Dreams has officially surpasses 1 million cumulative units sold since its September launch.

Delivering fast-paced, dreamlike action, Shape of Dreams’ vivid roguelite world current features an 84 Metacritic Metascore, along with a “Very Positive” user rating.

A NEOWIZ representative said the following:

Dead by Daylight: Stranger Things Chapter 2 Public Test Build Live

Now available via the Steam Public Test Build, Dead by Daylight: Stranger Things Chapter 2 brings with it Jane “Eleven” Hopper, Dustin Henderson, and Vecna (aka “The First”) himself.

Eleven and Dustin join the fight alongside Steve and Nancy. Players will have to contend with Vecna and his dark powers, which are sure to keep Survivors on their heels.

New Legendary Outfits for Survivors Nancy Wheeler, Dustin Henderson, and Steve Harrington – resembling Robin Buckley, Eddie Munson, and Jonathan Byers – have also been added.

ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN Preview – Oh Romeo.

A bloodstained action adventure from the developer that taught us “PUNX NOT DEAD,” SUDA51 is back with Grasshopper Manufacture’s time-hopping ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN in February for PC and consoles.

We recently checked out ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN ahead of its February release – see whether players should paint their screen red with our preview…

ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN Preview

Putting the spotlight on the sheriff Romeo Stargazer, ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN features some space-time shenanigans that make things all wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey in Deadford, Pennsylvania.

After a happenstance encounter, ROMEO’s grandfather comes to save the day Doc Brown-style, gifting him the aptly titled DeadGear Life Support System. Taking on the new mantle of FBI Space-Time Police Cadet, players will venture forth to find Juliet – or Juliets, rather.

Shakespeare ain’t got nothing on SUDA51.

Making the most of the situation (with his grandfather literally getting his back – you’ll see), ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN lets players tap into their instincts as they utilize light and heavy attacks, dodges, and eviscerate any and all rotters that stand in his way. 

There’s even the odd trip to subspace via Nirvana TV!

Those that rose the ranks as No More Heroes’ Travis Touchdown might feel the groove with ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN’s Melee weaponry like the Spazer. Combat flows, and there are plenty of baddies just waiting to be taken down in each of its zoned off battle areas.

However, this DeadMan packs a number of tricks up his sleeve that make ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN distinctly its own.

For one, players can feed their bloodlust with ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN’s Blood Gauge. After attacking enemies at close-range to fill the meter, players can then activate the dazzling Bloody Summer move to razzle-dazzle and dish out damage, all while slightly recovering health.

Weaponry in ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN also allows for ranged combat on top of melee. For those who played Shadows of the Damned, the gunplay allows for players to hit shining blue flower enemy weak spots to easily take down foes.

As a result, mixing and matching between these two styles in ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN allows players to change things up near, far, and wherever you are.

ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN jumps across dimensions, tapping into SUDA51’s greatest works to create something truly Shakespearean.
