MLB RIVALS 2025 Postseason Events Live

Packing a revamped Club Battle System, new Playoff Hero Moment Cards, and exclusive rewards, Com2uS has kicked off the 2025 MLB Postseason in MLB RIVALS.

Revamped Club Battle

MLB RIVALS’ Club Battle System has received an overhaul to provide not only deeper strategy elements, but also more thrilling matchups. 

Rather than daily contests between four clubs, one will now face off in head-to-head showdowns. 

In addition, club leaders can assign members to Attack or Defense formations that each have their own unique boost effects.

Playoff Hero Moment Cards

Celebrating the MLB Postseason, MLB RIVALS now features Playoff Hero Moment Cards that players who have delivered unforgettable performances in real-world playoff games. 

Each of these cards provides collectors and competitors the chance to relive legendary moments.

Special Events and Rewards

Beginning September 29, MLB RIVALS players can participate in different in-game post-season events:

  • Free Scouts and Rewards – Earn up to 200 Postseason Scout Tickets and claim high-value items such as the FA Signature Pack.
  • Playoff Hero Moment Acquisition – Starting October 16, players can recruit a Playoff Hero Moment Card from their favorite team.
  • Daily Mission Rewards – Items like the Team Selective Prime Pack, Superior Skill Change Ticket, and Limit Break Card will be available during the Postseason.
  • Ranked Slugger World Championship – One can compete in this special Postseason event to test one’s power and claim exclusive rewards in the process.

MLB RIVALS is now available via the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Steam – complete with cross-platform play between PC and mobile!

Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.3 Launching October 15

Zenless Zone Zero fans, get ready – Version 2.3 of HoYoverse’s popular urban fantasy ARPG, dubbed “Memories of Dreams Bygone,” will launch October 15.

“Memories of Dreams Bygone” will have Zenless Zone Zero players teaming up with Spook Shack as they set foot in the newly unlocked Timesworn Hills. A haunted area, a number of ghost stories echo through abandoned ruins in the Hollow. Lucia, 

Joining Zenless Zone Zero 2.3’s battlefield are Yidhari, and Komano Manato as new Agents.

This is all accompanied by fresh gameplay, new outfits for Vivian and Manato, and engaging events.

Originally entering the ring back in 1998, Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: The Newcomers brings a number of Fatal Fury staples while still keeping things fresh. 

Fan favorites like Andy and Terry Bogard, along with fanservice favorites Mai Shiranui, are all present and accounted for. For those looking for a change of pace, Rick Strowd and Li Xiangfei also make an appearance.

No matter who one chooses amongst its roster of over a dozen characters, Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: The Newcomers packs a punch. The foreground and background system in particular keeps things interesting – it’s the perfect way to throw one’s opponent for a loop. 

Think of it like a temporary sidestep for a counter sneaky attack. It’s good in a clutch, but must be used properly – no cheesing here.

Meanwhile, those looking to take their brawling skills worldwide can take advantage of Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: The Newcomers’ Online Play, along with its leaderboards that set out to highlight “Single Play,” “Total Wins,” and “Character Wins.”

For those who grew up with the Big Red SNK MVS arcade cabinet (you know the one!), Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: The Newcomers features a number of achievements that’ll test anyone’s might. Some like clearing arcade mode with every character seem fairly straightforward, but those that are able to Pull Off Geese Howard’s Deadly Rave have earned our respect.

TOUGEN ANKI: Crimson Inferno TGS 2025 Cinematic Trailer Released

Making its debut at the Tokyo Game Show 2025 earlier today, Com2uS recently premiered the first cinematic trailer for TOUGEN ANKI: Crimson Inferno.

Based on the popular Tougen Anki: Legend of the Cursed Blood series by writer Yura Urushibara, TOUGEN ANKI: Crimson Inferno will pay host to a dark fantasy world that is based on the folklore of Momotaro.

The release of TOUGEN ANKI: Crimson Inferno is looking to blend together signature attack moves from key characters with homages to signature scenes from the TV anime adaptation.

Mega Man and Proto Man Coming to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds

Revealed during Sony’s State of Play showcase earlier today, SEGA announced that Mega Man will be the latest addition to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds’ growing Season Pass roster. 

Both Mega Man and Proto Man will make their way to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds as new playable characters, alongside a new Mega Man-inspired course – Wily Castle.

As an added attention to detail, Mega Man’s faithful companion Rush will hit each track as the Rush Roadster vehicle!
