NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound 14-Minute Gameplay Trailer Released

The Game Kitchen, Dotemu, and Joystick have released a new in-depth look at NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound that provides an in-depth look at its intense 2D side-scrolling action.

Featuring 14 minutes of gameplay, all those that tune-in can check out a new NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound stage and boss fight commented by the talented folks at The Game Kitchen themselves (David Jaumandreu, Miguel Murat, and Oriol Tartarin).

Indie Fan Fest Fall 2025 Announced

A collaboration between indie publisher Digital Bandidos and The MIX, the new Indie Fan Fest showcase is set to showcase a number of upcoming Steam Next Fest games.

The Indie Fan Fest has been designed to spotlight unreleased indie games launching demos in the October 2025 Steam Next Fest. This, in turn, is set to help standout games drive maximum wishlist growth, reach new fans, and build buzz with press, creators, and players.

All those that tune in will be able to check out exclusive trailers, developer insights, never-before-seen gameplay, and wishlist-focused calls-to-action.

On that note, one can submit their entry for the Indie Fan Fest via this form before August 1.

Do note that all entries must abide by the following rules:

  • Your game must feature a new demo launching during Steam Next Fest in October 2025
  • Your game must not have been part of a previous Steam Next Fest
  • Both indie developers and publishers are welcome to apply
  • Final video content is not required at the time of submission — selected teams will be contacted with next steps in July/August

Delta Force Season Break Now Available

The largest content update yet for Delta Force, Team Jade has launched Season Break for the  free-to-play modern team-based tactical shooter.

Scope out some of the highlights of this update to Delta Force below:

New Additions in Season Break

The new season for Delta Force brings with it two action-packed maps that have been designed to test players’ tactical limits:

  • Operation Map: Tide Prison – Dive into a high-security island prison operated by the shadowy Haavk faction. Players must infiltrate disguised as inmates, recover gear mid-mission, and solve multi-layered puzzles — solo or with their squad. Swimming, diving, and underwater exploration make their debut, opening up new paths and strategic opportunities.
  • Warfare Map: Cyclone – Set on a lush, tropical island concealing a deadly ICBM site, Cyclone is a large-scale battlefield supporting intense infantry and vehicle combat. A dynamic weather system introduces rain, wind, and storms, affecting visibility, movement, and strategy in real time.

New Operator: Tempest

Free with the Delta Force Season Break Battle Pass, Tempest is a lightning-fast Operator equipped with a cutting-edge auxiliary spine mobility system. 

This character also features an emergency evasion tech for instant repositioning, alongside a charged drill that has the ability to disarm enemies in close-quarters standoffs

Expanded Arsenal & Enhanced Combat Systems

Delta Force’s Season Break brings even more to the battlefield:

  • New weapons including a high-impact assault rifle and precision compound bow
  • Jet skis and for amphibious warfare games
  • Victory Unite system upgrades, including a real-time command hub and a new call-in support mechanic to accelerate respawn time and reinforce coordination under fire.

Prison City SGDQ Speedrun Happening July 9

Developer Programancer, together with Retroware, have announced that Prison City will be featured in the game’s participation in the Summer Games Done Quick annual charity speedrunning event.

Kicking off July 9 at 9:54am ET (tomorrow!), speedrunner and ROM hack creator DanTheVP will attempt an Any% completion run of Prison City on Modern difficulty. Meanwhile, fellow streamers Hank Sinatra and Bobbeigh are set to provide couch commentary throughout the run, with CartridgeBlowers on the mic. 

All those interested can tune in via the official GamesDoneQuick Twitch channel.

Star Trek Online “Timeless Legacy” Starship Bundle Announced

The team at Arc Games, together with DECA Games, have announced the “Timeless Legacy” bundle for Star Trek Online that includes three ships from different Star Trek eras.

The Starship Bundle for Star Trek Online includes the following items:

USS Okinawa – Also available to purchase separately

The base version of the USS Okinaka has been modeled from the classic Star Trek game, Star Trek: Starfleet Command. 

On that note, new variants include the TOS era variant (which has been featured in an IDW Star Trek Comic), along with an TMP era variant and the STO era variant.

USS Proxima – Also available to purchase separately

The base version of the USS Proxima has been modeled from its iteration in the Star Trek game Star Trek: Legacy.

Meanwhile, new variants include the TOS era variant, TMP era, variant & STO era variant 

Ranger Temporal Battle Cruiser – Also available to purchase separately

Originally making an appearance in Star Trek Online’s 2016 expansion “Agents of Yesterday,” new variants include the TMP era variant and STO era variant. This is on top of a remaster of the TOS era variant.

Bundle Exclusives for Star Trek Online also include the following:

  • The Star Trek: The Motion Picture EV Suit item and costume
  • The Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan Cadet Uniform costume
  • Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan Ceti Alpha V Eel Universal Kit Module

The Outlast Trials Season 4 Launching July 15

Project Diarchy is set to arrive to The Outlast Trials on July 15, bringing additional content updates and quality-of-life improvements.

New to The Outlast Trials are the Kress Siblings Otto and Arora. Two halves of the same sadistic whole, the former is a one time politician now packs a chainsaw while the latter is a brilliant chemist that is capable of devising the most toxic of weapons.

The twins of this dynamic duo now skulk The Outlast Trials’ The Shopping Mall. This Trial Environment has allowed them to organize a rally for the all-but-predetermined election.
