The Darkside Detective: Backside of the Moon Steam Demo Live

Players will be able to join Detective McQueen and Officer Dooley for a very special case with the new Steam demo for Spooky Doorway and Akupara Games’ The Darkside Detective: Backside of the Moon.

Now available via its official Steam page, “Honey, I Shrunk the Detectives” will have the aforementioned Detective McQueen and Officer Dooley shrunk to the size of mice within the confines of the Darkside Division office.

Coming in with some excellent dad jokes, Narrative Lead Dave McCabe said the following:

“It should come as no small surprise that we’ve come scurrying back to The Darkside Detective – we can’t wait for people to take a little time away from the rat race and shrink their teeth into the new cases. 

We hope you take our bait and try the new demo!”

Persona5: The Phantom X Version 3.4 Featuring P5R’s Kasumi Yoshizawa

Now available on both PC and mobile devices, today’s Persona 5: The Phantom X Version 3.4 release brings with it the new Persona 5 Royal Crossroads of Fate: Laboratory Arc Part 1 alongside the fan-favorite 5★ Phantom Thief Kasumi Yoshizawa.

As part of Persona5: The Phantom X Version 3.4, Kasumi Yoshizawa/Violet will make her debut in Laboratory Arc Part 1 of this special event.

During this time, the Phantom Thieves from Persona5: The Phantom X will team up with the Phantom Thieves of Hearts from Persona 5 Royal. 

On that note, players will now be able to explore a brand-new Palace with challenging boss battles to earn rewards such as Gold Tickets and Platinum Milicoins, which can then be used for Contracts (or gacha). 

Note that Kasumi Yoshizawa will also appear at Café Leblanc in Yongen-Jaya during this time period, giving players the chance to earn various rewards by completing related City Life activities.  

Finally, in celebration of the SEGA Spring Sale, Persona5: The Phantom X is set to feature a special campaign. During this time, players will be able to obtain exclusive collaboration frames from Metaphor: ReFantazio, Persona 3 Reload, and Persona 5 Royal in-game – all for free!

Better hurry though – the event is set to end April 2 at 1:59 AM (UTC)!

Persona5: The Phantom X can now be downloaded via the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store, and PC via Steam and Google Play Games.

Funko Metaphor: ReFantazio POP! Vinyl Collection Pre-Orders Live

Let the tournament begin – pre-orders for the new line of Funko Metaphor: ReFantazio POP! Vinyl Collection are now open.

Now available for pre-order via the official Funko website, the following characters can now be pre-ordered for $14.99 each:

  • Eupha – The priestess from the Mustari tribe is here to join the party, she stands at approximately 4.1 in (10.4 cm) tall. 
  • Heismay – Collect the former knight of the Eugief tribe whose vinyl figure is approximately 5.1 in (13 cm) tall.
  • Hulkenberg – Hulkenberg is here to break the curse in your collection. She stands at approximately 3.9 in (9.9 cm) tall.
  • Strohl – Seek vengeance for the Clemar tribe with Strohl, standing at approximately 4.2 in (10.7 cm) tall.
  • Louis – Collect the treacherous assassin who stands at approximately 4 in (10.2 cm) tall.  
  • Protagonist – Prepare to journey across the United Kingdom of Euchronia and take the throne with the Protagonist, whose vinyl figure is 4.6 in (11.6 cm) tall. 

All items in this Funko Metaphor: ReFantazio POP! Vinyl Collection are expected to ship June 10, 2026.

When it comes to the release of Metaphor: ReFantazio proper, this turn-based JRPG is now available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance SEGA Villains Stage DLC Launching April 3

Three epic showdowns will await players when the SEGA Villains Stage DLC for Lizardcube’s SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance launches April 3.

The SEGA Villains Stage DLC features a number of new stages that feature stunning worlds inspired by beloved SEGA franchises. 

Foes include Golden Axe’s Death Adder, Like a Dragon’s “mad dog” of Shimano Goro Majima, and 300 IQ evil genius Dr. Eggman from the Sonic the Hedgehog series.

Players can expect three new bosses, five new stages, two new Boss Rush modes, three new ninpo, three new outfits, and six new music tracks.
