BALL x PIT: The Regal Update Now Available

Free to all players, Kenny Sun and Devolver Digital are bouncing back with the release of BALL x PIT: The Regal Update for PC and consoles.

BALL x PIT: The Regal Update gives players the chance to play as the Falconer, who possesses the ability to fire off two balls that are launched by a pair of birds that flank the screen.

Eight powerful new balls have also made their way to BALL x PIT as part of The Regal Update, including Fireworks, The Stone Ball, and The Landslide.

Viltrumites Anissa and Lucan Joining Invincible VS’ Roster

Viltrumites Anissa and Lucan will enter the fray when Skybound Entertainment’s in-house studio Quarter Up releases their three-on-three tag team fighter Invincible VS April 30.

As one of the Viltrum Empire’s most lethal and loyal enforcers, Anissa’s strong-headed nature fuels her drive to conquer civilizations. 

A premier “Striker” fighter, Anissa uses her incredible speed and strength to close the distance between opponents with dash attacks, multi-hit strikes, and rushdown combos.

Meanwhile, the loyal, ruthless, and arrogant Lucan packs a blunt, callous personality and taps into his impressive physical abilities in Invincible VS. 

A strong “Grappler” fighter, Lucan is able to gain leverage through aerial mobility alongside his devastating throws, hit grabs, and low attacks.

Invincible co-creator, Robert Kirkman said the following:

“The Viltrumites have never been a larger part of the Invincible universe, so there’s no way we could leave them out of Invincible VS.

Between Season 4 of the show, the events in the Battle Beast comic series and now with what’s to come in our game, 2026 is going to be a huge year for the Viltrumites.”

Other characters joining Invincible VS’ roster include Mark Grayson (Invincible), Thula, Bulletproof, Atom Eve, Rex Splode, Omni-Man, Battle Beast, Cecil Stedman, Robot, Monster Girl and the new original character Ella Mental.

Invincible VS will come out for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Xbox on PC April 30.

Day of the Devs x San Francisco Edition Submissions Now Open

A call to arms, the team behind Day of the Devs: San Francisco Edition 2026 is looking for the best ‘n’ brightest upcoming indie games to show off at The Midway come March 8!

Now open through February 2, applicants from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply via the official Google Forms portal.

The team behind Day of the Devs: San Francisco Edition 2026 is always looking for beautiful indie games and projects across all genres.

To provide some perspective, the 2025 Day of the Devs event in San Francisco saw more than two thousand attendees, proudly showcasing hit games like Blue Prince, Cairn, Despelote, and Big Hops.

In addition, the Day of the Devs x GDC Pop-Up is happening from March 11-13 during GDC open hours. All those that swing by can experience a smaller showcase selection of titles from the Day of the Devs x San Francisco Edition event.

An up-and-coming indie studio, Full Metal Bagel is made up of industry veterans that previously worked on acclaimed titles like The Last of Us Part II, Assassin’s Creed: Origins, and Honor of Kings.

Dragon Ball Game Project “AGE 1000” Releasing in 2027

Featuring a new world and characters by Akira Toriyama, Bandai Namco announced the latest Dragon Ball Game – Project “AGE 1000” – during the “Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri” event.

Releasing in 2027, Dragon Ball Game Project “AGE 1000” will be set in a new Dragon Ball world featuring entirely original characters. 

Adding to its authenticity, DRAGON BALL Game Project “AGE 1000” will also mark the debut of a never-before-seen character that has been designed by Akira Toriyama himself.
