Fantasy MMORPG Raven2 Snowflake Festival Update Live

Netmarble’s dark fantasy MMORPG Raven2 is ringing in the holiday season with today’s new update, bringing the Snowflake Festival and more to the title.

A special event dungeon to celebrate the holiday seasons in Raven2, the Snowflake Festival will give players the chance to challenge the Gingerbread Man in the Snowflake Festival Hill dungeon.

Those that come out on top from now through January 6 can earn for themselves various rewards – scope out the highlights below:

  • The holiday-themed Heroic Holy Garment (Festival of the Silent Star or Herald of Winter)
  • A Rare Holy Garment “Temptation of the Holy Night” 
  • A Rare Familiar “Snopon.”

In addition, Raven2 players can take advantage of a special check-in event. Those that do can get the chance to receive a Heroic Holy Garment (1) Summon Scroll.

The massive GvG content “Ancient Fortress” has also been added to Raven2, allowing for up to 24 guilds within each world to compete across four distinct battlefields. 

All interested guilds can participate in the entry bidding process through the in-game item “Invitation from the Lost Kingdom,” while up to four guilds per server will win the bid and gain themselves entry into the Ancient Fortress. 

Raven2 can be found via the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, along with its official Epic Games Store page.

Free Maze-Building Roguelite MINOS “Home A-Labyrinth” Released

Keep the change, ya filthy animals – Devolver Digital and Artificer’s maze-building roguelite MINOS is keeping the holiday spirit alive with the free Home A-Labyrinth spinoff on Steam.

Inspired by everyone’s favorite holiday film (you know the one, you Wet Bandits you…),  Minos: Home A-Labyrinth will let players build festive traps as they defend a snow-covered home from clumsy intruders.

The end result? The ability to unleash winter-grade mischief in a legally distinct seasonal homage.

The development team had to say the following via their official Steam page:

“Ever since the announcement of MINOS, some of the players who participated in our playtests or played the demo, joked that the game feels like a certain holiday-themed, trap-setting, kid-outsmarts-the-intruders classic. 

So, for the Christmas season, as a joke (and a very calculated marketing ploy), we hacked a portion of our own unreleased game into a festive, legally-distinct homage to that vibe, and decided to release it for free TODAY. 

Anyway, we hope you’ll enjoy this holiday special over the Christmas period, while waiting for the release of MINOS next year!”

Meanwhile, the maze-building roguelike Minos will release next year – one can learn more and wishlist the title via its official Steam page.

REAL MOON Now Available on Steam

Built from real data and a JAXA-backed simulation, historia Inc.’s REAL MOON is now available for the PC via Steam.

A free-to-play lunar exploration simulator, REAL MOON makes use of actual scientific research and data.

REAL MOON’s attention-to-detail has been accomplished as part of a partnership with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). 

As a result, REAL MOON has been able to recreate the surface of the Moon with extremely high levels of detail and accuracy.

Featuring a dream team of creators, developers, and reviewers, Mega Cat Studios, Indie Retro, and MAGFest have revealed the list of MAGFest 2026 Indie Retro Homebrew Showcase judges.

Representing a range of experience across game development, media, and retro gaming culture, the MAGFest 2026 Indie Retro Homebrew Showcase judges are set to evaluate and celebrate the standout titles featured at next month’s event.

The list of 2026 Indie Retro Homebrew Showcase can be found below:

  • AshSaidHi (Twitter Ambassador and Retro Variety Streamer) – Ash is the Queen of Retro and beloved host and entertainer on Twitch, social platforms, and in-person at live events. Think of her content’s vibes as the Mr. Rogers of Retro gaming, built for adults to reminisce in a familiar and comforting setting. She strives to make retro gaming approachable and fun for all.
  • Justin Silverman (Creative Director, Retroware) – Justin Silverman is the Creative Director at Retroware, which creates modern retro games. With over 15 years of experience staffing gaming conventions like TooManyGames and producing content for The Angry Video Game Nerd at Cinemassacre, Justin has been immersed in gaming culture for years. He also brings a background in film, having worked as an editor at NFL Films, but his passion remains rooted in the world of gaming.
  • Larry Bundy Jr. (YouTuber, Comedian, and Artist) – Larry is an English retro gaming renaissance man. He has been featured and presented on several British television channels including Game Network, Rapture TV, and XLEAGUE.TV, and was a contributor and credited on Charlie Brooker’s Gameswipe. Larry currently runs a YouTube channel where he creates lighthearted game retrospectives, often covering the more anecdotal and funny side of video gaming history.
  • Pernell Vaughan (Co-host, Rhythm & Pixels Podcast) – Half of the illustrious, silly, and dapper duo that makes up the Rhythm & Pixels Video Game Music Podcast and co-host/reviewer of the SML Podcast, Pernell brings a seemingly infinite knowledge of video games and blends it with his excitement for great music.   • Sean Robinson (VGS Community Manager & GB Magazine Copy Editor) – Sean is a gamer with a special love of homebrew games. He is on the homebrew staff of Video Game Sage, where he posts his blogs A Homebrew Draws Near! and The Mega Cat Chronicles. He enjoys hanging out with developers and other fans, learning about their latest projects, and exploring the cities where gaming conventions are held.
  • Tee Lopes (Award-Winning Game Composer and Producer) – Tee Lopes is a composer and producer known for bringing classic game energy into the modern era. His work on Sonic Mania, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, Streets of Rage 4 and others has made him a defining voice in today’s game music scene. With sounds that fuse past, present, and future, Tee’s goal is simple: to make people feel the joy of play.
  • Video Game Esoterica (Video Game Reviewer) – Video Game Esoterica is a reviewer of everything you’ve never heard of but always wanted to know about, and a passionate advocate for video game preservation.

Super MAGFest 2026 is happening from January 8-11 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland.
