PAC-MAN 45th Anniversary Arcade Pop-Up at Macy’s Herald Square Starting November 14

Starting November 14, Bandai Namco will bring a limited-time PAC-MAN Pop-Up at Macy’s Herald Square in New York City featuring free games, popular Gashapon prize vending machines, and anniversary merchandise.

Running through January 18, this Macy’s Herald Square immersive destination will bring Bandai Namco’s arcade icon’s legacy to life in one of New York City’s most visited locales.

locations, inviting fans of all ages to play, explore, and rediscover the character that has shaped gaming and pop culture for decades. In honor of the anniversary and the recent launch of the newest game in the iconic franchise.

Susan Tran, Sr. Director of Brand Development for PAC-MAN at Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc., said the following:

“PAC-MAN has spent 45 years bringing people together through the universal joy of play.

Bringing this arcade-inspired experience to Macy’s Herald Square gives fans a new way to connect with PAC-MAN and Bandai Namco’s legacy while creating fresh memories with friends, families, and fellow gamers. 

We’re thrilled to share this colorful, nostalgic space with New York City during one of its most festive seasons.”

Adding to the festivities and tying into the recent PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC release for PC and consoles, PAC-MAN is also set to make his debut in the 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade November 27.

Jordan Dabby, Producer of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, said the following:

“Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade has always been the stage where the world’s most beloved characters come to life, and this year we’re thrilled to welcome PAC-MAN to our iconic holiday tradition.

From soaring high above the streets of New York City to taking over Macy’s Herald Square, in New York City, PAC-MAN’s 45th Anniversary celebration continues with a one-of-a-kind Pop-Up Arcade. 

This immersive experience invites fans to keep the fun going with free-to-play games, Gashapon prize vending machines, and anniversary merchandise—bringing the excitement of the Parade right into the store.”

American Red Cross Teaming Up with PAC-MAN to Boost Holiday Blood Donations

From November 17 to December 7, all those that give blood or platelets can get themselves an exclusive pair of Red Cross x PAC-MAN socks along with a custom Red Cross x PAC-MAN GASHAPON while supplies last. 

As part of this PAC-MAN collaboration, the American Red Cross is joining forces with Bandai Namco to find blood donors and to help achieve their objective to help save lives.

Darren Irby, Executive Director of Brand and Partnerships with the Red Cross, said the following:

“The last two months of the year can be a challenge to maintain a strong blood supply.

Seasonal activities, holiday planning, inclement weather and cold and flu season all can prevent people from giving blood during this time of year. We are thrilled to work with PAC-MAN to help encourage more donations during this critical period.”

“PAC-MAN has always been about bringing people together and spreading joy.

Octopath Traveler 0 Story Trailer Released

Making its debut during today’s State of Play segment, learn more about Octopath Traveler 0’s story with the latest trailer for Square Enix’s upcoming HD-2D RPG epic.

An exciting prequel set in the realm of Orsterra, Octopath Traveler 0 will have players embarking on a new adventure of their own creation.

When it comes to Octopath Traveler 0’s Battle System, both the Break and Boost Systems will make their return, alongside strategic command-based battles. One can also take advantage of this title’s new Town Building mechanics, letting one rebuild their hometown to their own liking.
