Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.6 Launching September 24

The team at HoYoverse announced that Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 3.6, dubbed “Back to Earth in Evernight,”  is set to release September 24.

As part of Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.6, Trailblazers worldwide will be able to cross paths once more with familiar faces from the Astral Express – complete with striking new forms.

both Evernight and Dan Heng will see new norms, and Permansor Terrae will now officially join the playable roster for the title.

Honkai: Star Rail 3.6 will also feature a wealth of new content. Trailblazers will be able to test their team-building prowess in the high-difficulty challenge “Anomaly Arbitration,” and can also dive into the unbridled energy of the multiplayer seasonal event “Colorful Mayhem.”

Dying Light: The Beast Receiving Earlier Launch Date

Players will be able to step into the world of Techland Games’ Dying Light: The Beast a little earlier with its new release date of September 18.

Done as thanks for the more than one million players that secured their copy of Dying Light: The Beast ahead of launch, the development team has moved the release date of Dying Light: The Beast up a day.

Tymon Smektała, Dying Light Franchise Director, said the following:

 “Seeing the excitement from our community for the return of Kyle Crane in Dying Light: The Beast, and knowing the game is ready, we wanted to do something special for our players. 

We pushed ourselves to make the impossible possible, and that’s why we’re releasing the game a little earlier. 

I can’t wait to see players’ reactions when they finally step into the world of The Beast.”

Dying Light: The Beast will release for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. One can place their pre-order of Dying Light: The Beast via the official Dying Light website.

Sac Gamers Expo 2025 Welcomes Special Guest Robert J. Mical

A pioneer and influential figure in the video game industry, Robert J. Mical will be a Guest of Honor at Sac Gamers Expo 2025 this December.

Featuring a truly impressive resume, Robert J. Mical contributed to the design of the Amiga and created the user interface for Commodore’s Amiga personal computer.

In addition, Robert J. Mical created classic titles at Williams Electronics like Sinistar (complete with digitzed speech!) and Star Rider. 

He also worked at Sony Computer Entertainment from 2005 to 2011 as a senior manager on many PlayStation games, working on developer tools for the PlayStation 3, PlayStaiton Portable, and PlayStation Vita.

Top-Down Co-Op Roguelite SunderBound Announced

Set in a crumbling mega-tower, players will set out to survive floor by floor with the release of Kipi Interactive’s top-down co-op roguelike SunderBound on Steam.

A two-player co-op top-down shooter, SunderBound will throw players into a decaying dieselpunk world that has been shattered by a failed weather weapon.

Climbing one brutal floor at a time, SunderBound will have players relying on cooperation as they lock in class combos, split flanks, and execute pushes with precision.

Digimon Story Time Stranger Demo Now Available

Designed to be the perfect entry point to the series for RPG enthusiasts, players can take their first steps into the World of Digimon with the new demo for Digimon Story Time Stranger.

This new demo of Digimon Story Time Stranger gives players a chance to experience the game’s prologue.

Taking control of an ADAMAS agent, players will set out to investigate a mysterious disturbance around the Shinjuku area. 

Note that game progress in the first section of Digimon Story Time Stranger demo will carry over to the full release!
