The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack Launching October 2

Adventures big or small will await players when the latest expansion for The Sims 4 – appropriately titled “Adventure Awaits” – launches for PC and consoles October 2.

As part of this expansion to The Sims 4, Sims will be able to break free from everyday life to discover, explore, and nurture their spirit of play. This can be done with the inclusion of new Hobbies, Custom Venues, Getaways and more.

The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack will come out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the EA app, Epic Games Store, and Steam.

One can pre-order The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack via its official website. Those that order the Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack through November 13 can get themselves the Warm & Cozy Digital Content that includes the Toasty Tower Lamp, Toast-Tea Kettle, and Toasty Tootsies Socks.

Monster Hunter Now Season 7 Preview

Season 7 of Niantic and Capcom’s Monster Hunter Now is set to launch in just a few short weeks, giving Hunters their next thrill with “Advent of the Exploration Base.”

Additional Monsters

All Monster Hunter Now Hunters will be able to take on Espinas, Garangolm and Lunagaron as part of Season 7.

Looking for more monsters to hunt? Riftborne Deviljho is set to arrive in Monster Hunter Now September 22.

Monster Hunter Now Season 7 Preview - Exploration Bases - Gamers Heroes

Exploration Bases

After successful beta testing, exploration bases are set to launch in Monster Hunter Now soon.

Utilizing local landmarks, Hunters will be able to grow together through some jolly good cooperation.

Style Customization Update

Originally introduced in Monster Hunter Now Season 6, style customization in the title will receiving a major upgrade. 

On that note, the parameters that increase with each level of style customization will be raised, which allow for customizable weapons to reach the max strength of currently available equipment. 

In addition, Monster Hunter Now weapons that have been sufficiently customized will also gain a special effect.

New Skills

Season 7 of Monster Hunter Now will introduce six new skills to master, which can then be added to the armor of the aforementioned Espinas, Garangolm, and Lunagaron.

These include Pursuit, Ballistics, Reckless, Defender, Vital Fire, and Vital Ice.

Easier to Find Your Desired Monsters

A new feature, Monster Hunter Now Season 7 will let Hunters select monster groups, changing which monsters appear in the field. 

As a result, this will make it much easier for players to find the targets they want to hunt – all for keeping things easy-breezy.

Reduced Material Requirements for Weapons

Starting in Monster Hunter Now Season 7, the amount of materials required to forge and upgrade most weapons will be reduced. 

This, in turn, serves as a great opportunity for Hunters to forge and upgrade weapons one hasn’t previously tried before. 

Finally, the development team behind Monster Hunter Now had to say the following:

The game is about to celebrate its 2nd Anniversary, and we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all hunters who continue to enjoy the hunt with us.

Over the past year, alongside additional seasonal monsters, weapons, and equipment, we’ve held live and global events and expanded features that help hunters connect with each other. 

More recently, we’ve delivered updates such as new weapon customizations and actions, and a new system that lets you continue hunts even after moving away.

As we move into the 3rd year of Monster Hunter Now, we remain committed to making the real-world hunting experience—going outside to play, and connecting with friends—even more exciting. 

Expect new content as well as improvements to existing features.

We look forward to continuing the hunt together!”

007 First Light Gameplay Deep Dive Released

As part of a special PlayStation State of Play segment earlier today, IO Interactive and Amazon MGM Studios provided a gameplay deep dive of their new title 007 First Light.

An exciting new chapter in James Bond’s legacy in video games, 007 First Light serves as a re-imagined origin story of the infamous James Bond.

Lending their talents to 007 First Light are Patrick Gibson (Dexter: Original Sin, The OA) as James Bond, Priyanga Burford as M, Alastair Mackenzie as Q, and Kiera Lester as Miss Moneypenny.

New character in 007 First Light also include Bond’s mentor, John Greenway (played by Fear the Walking Dead’s Lennie James) and Miss Roth (Noémie Nakai).

Moody Monster Tamer Yami Kids Kickstarter Live

A tale of tragedy, familial bonds, and revenge awaits with GameDevTosh and Yanako RPGs’ moody monster tamer Yami Kids – now live on Kickstarter!

A retro, monster taming game, this title focuses on the titular Yami Kids (Yuki and Yumi Yami), and their role in both the Overworld and The Underworld.

The title will also pay host to detailed pixel art, a retro-flavored soundtrack, clever gameplay mechanics that incorporate day and night cycles, and the inclusion of community feedback.

“Shin Megami Tensei: Demi Kids and YU-GI-OH were major inspirations for Yami Kids.

A lot of thought is going into our intertwined overworld and underworld, maximizing customization and replayability, and interlooping ideas in the story with characters weaving in and out of different realms and worlds with some fun time travel elements as well.

A new trailer for Yami Kids is set to air on September 7 at 9am PT, following Gym Leader Ed’s Monster Taming Direct.
