Genshin Impact Reveals New Character Flins at gamescom 2025

Making his debut at gamescom 2025, HoYoverse has revealed the first in-game look at new character Flins.

Those attending gamescom 2025 can pay a visit to the official booth, which is located at Hall 6, Booth C031, in the Koelnmesse event arena. Note that the booth is supported by both UGREEN and HOLY!

The spotlight for this year is on the new Nod-Krai region that is featured in the game’s major annual expansion. Said region will mark the beginning of a new chapter in the game’s main storyline

Bubsy 4D Announced by Fabraz

Bubsy’s back – in 4D! – with the newly announced Bubsy 4D by Atari and Fabraz.

The infamous (for better or worse) wise-cracking bobcat Bubsy is returning to 3D in Bubsy 4D.

Featuring new challenges, new moves, and even more purrsonality (their pun, not ours), Bubsy 4D will have players running, jumping, gliding, and rolling through alien planets. Players will also be able to take on robotic sheep and collect tons and tons of yarn in the process.

Ethan Stearns, VP of Games at Atari, said the following:

“Bubsy has always had a reputation – some of it notable, some of it infamous.

But through it all, Bubsy has remained memorable, and we felt the character deserved a truly great game behind it. 

In teaming up with Fabraz, we believe we’ve finally delivered just that with Bubsy 4D: a fresh take that both respects the past and brings something entirely new to the table.”

Fabian Rastorfer at Fabraz added:

“It’s been a wild ride to work on a sequel to Bubsy 3D, considering its infamous legacy.

It was really important for us to take this challenge seriously by both identifying what’s made the bobcat stick around for so long, while also reinventing parts of the series to work better. 

I believe Bubsy’s move-set is stronger than ever and anyone who’s played our previous games will feel right at home with this Expressive 3D Platformer. 

I’m incredibly proud of the world we’ve created and I can’t WAIT to see everyone’s reactions to this announcement.

The Sims 4 Skin Details Base Game Update Now Available

Now available for The Sims 4 on PC and consoles, the latest update for the title lets players take their creativity and authenticity skills to the next level with Skin Details.

As part of this update, players will be able to add rosacea, freckles with more coverage, and new Stretch Mark options.

Ash, a Producer for The Sims 4, said the following in a recent community post:

Permafrost and Vampires: Bloodlord Rising Official gamescom Trailers Released

The team at Toplitz Productions is getting a head start on the gamescom 2025 festivities with new trailers for Permafrost and Vampires: Bloodlord Rising.

For those looking to cool down this summer, the new Permafrost trailer has got a cure-all with its brutal post-apocalyptic world buried in ice.

Developed my SpaceRocket Games, Permafrost will task players with relying on their wits instincts, and trusty dog in either solo or co-op gameplay.

Meanwhile, the new trailer for Mehuman Games’ Vampires: Bloodlord Rising sets out to tease the seductive – and gruesome – players will be required to take as Dragos.

Roguelite Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree Demo Now Available

Ahead of its release next month, Brownies inc. and Bandai Namco have released a new demo of their 2D isometric roguelite Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree for PC and consoles.

Starting today, players can experience a demo for Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree that features the prologue chapter alongside four of the game’s eight Guardians. One will take on the role of Rekka, Shigin, Origami, and Nishikito as they face the evil Mogatsu and his Magaori minions.

Lizardcube and SEGA have announced SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance’s SEGA Villains Stage DLC, which will release in early 2026.

As part of SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance’s DLC, Joe Musashi will face off against Sonic the Hedgehog’s Dr. Eggman. 

Those that pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition of SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance will be able to save 10% on the title, and also unlock the SEGA Villains Stage upon release.

In addition, YDB’s apparel brand Dirty Magic has recently released a SHINOBI apparel collection on Amazon. Available for a limited time, SHINOBI merchandise, including T-shirts, hoodies, and more can be purchased.
