Co-Op Arcade Adventure CTHULOOT Now Available for Nintendo Switch

Mythical treasures in lost and well-guarded places await with the release of Pixelnest Studio’s co-op arcade adventure CTHULOOT for the Nintendo Switch.

With the Great Old Ones calling, CTHULOOT will have players rounding up one’s friends to form a gang of “semi-competent” looters in search of relics.

Along the way, players will set out to explore mysterious realms in the liminal space between reality and madness – and collect some mighty fine loot while they’re at it.

Summer Games Done Quick 2025 Schedule Released

A speedrunning tradition, the team behind Summer Games Done Quick 2025 has released their schedule for the red-hot event.

Available via the official website, the Summer Games Done Quick 2025 schedule shows a wealth of runs.

New games added this year include Monster Hunter Wilds, MainFrames, Blue Prince, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, Seafrog, and The Talos Principle: Reawakened.

The event will happen from July 6-13 at the Hilton Minneapolis Downtown in Minnesota, but those who can’t make it in person can tune in online via the official Games Done Quick Twitch channel.

Note that Summer Games Done Quick 2025 benefits Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières. This nonprofit is dedicated to offering medical humanitarian assistance to people based solely on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender, or political affiliation.

Delta Force Mid-Season Update Live

Team Jade is celebrating Delta Force’s significant milestone as the most played shooter on Steam released since 2024 with a mid-season update for Season 4: Eclipse Vigil!

Delta Force has taken the crown in both concurrent player count and 24-hour peak, cementing its place amongst the genre’s top titles.

Highlights include two powerful weapons and a free Event Pass that gives players the chance to unlock even more rewards like an Epic Weapon Appearance and 20 Armament Voucher draws by playing in Operations or Warfare modes. 

Note that Delta Force players will also get the chance to take on a wealth of new events and challenges throughout the update, with rewards including a “gnawingly adorable” Spray Paint.

KRAFTON’s Dark and Darker Mobile Rebranded to Abyss of Dungeons

The team at KRAFTON has announced that Bluehole Studios’ mobile title Dark and Darker Mobile has officially rebranded as Abyss of Dungeons.

With this new Abyss of Dungeons title, the development team is looking to symbolize its core gameplay, mirroring the deep and dark environments players will encounter as they explore the unknown. 

Note that KRAFTON plans to gradually roll out the new name and logo across the game with its June update.

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Update 35.2 Announced

Update 35.2 for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS keeps the momentum going with destructible terrain, the Red Zone, and vending machines to Taego.

For the first time on PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS’ Taego map, the environment can now be physically altered during combat. 

On that note, explosives—including grenades, mortars, C4, and the Panzerfaust—can now reshape sections of the terrain, providing new opportunities for cover or attack. 

In addition, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS now features a newly-added pickaxe that allows players to manually dig and modify the terrain more quietly. 

This, in turn, allows for a more strategic feel to the Battlegrounds, adding depth to positioning and map control.
