Open-World Adventure Everwind Kickstarter Kicks Off

Bohemia Interactive, together with Enjoy Studio, have announced the launch of the Kickstarter campaign for their open-world survival RPG Everwind.

The Kickstarter campaign for Everwind has been designed to bring players directly into the game’s creative journey.

Not only will one be able to unlock exclusive rewards, backers will also be able to help shape the future of the game through community engagement. 

Featuring cosmetics, collectibles, in-game statues, skins, and even a chance to appear as an NPC, this Everwind campaign promises to provide something for everyone.

 Michał Baraniak, CEO at Enjoy Studio S.A., said the following.

“This Kickstarter campaign isn’t about gathering missing funds.

It’s about inviting our community to help shape Everwind’s future and unlock additional content and features that go beyond our current development scope. We want to grow together with our fans.”

Metaphor: ReFantazio x HYTE Collaboration Announced

The team at ATLUS has announced that it is collaborating with HYTE for a new collection based around Metaphor: ReFantazio.

As part of this collaboration, HYTE closely worked with the Metaphor: ReFantazio team on a new case, keycaps, and desk pads. Each have been designed to ensure authenticity to this JRPG’s environment and themes. 

In particular, the Metaphor: ReFantazio Y70 case showcases the title’s displays the title’s artwork on its glass panels alongside in-game elements that have been integrated across the Y70’s metal paneling.

Also included is a custom metal plate that calls back to the game, rounded out with a deep mahogany colorway.

HYTE x Metaphor: Refantazio Collection is here!

  • The Metaphor: ReFantazio Y70 is available for pre-order at HYTE.com and select retailers. Priced at $299.99, it is expected to launch in Q3 2025.

Elden Ring Nightreign Bringing Spectacle To PAX East 2025

The legends at Bandai Namco are going big for the upcoming PAX East 2025 show, enlisting players the world over to take on the Night in a new Elden Ring Nightreign demo, along with a red-hot panel with Shadow Labyrinth and other action-platform developers. 

Happening May 8-11 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, all those looking to check out Elden Ring Nightreign for themselves simply need to swing by the Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. booth (#16055).

On that same note, seasoned Souls-like players Distortion2, Oroboro, LilAggy, Larxa, and Parkenharbor will enlist one lucky player for each demo session for Nightreign. Adding to the excitement are epic shout casters Jake Lyon and Shyowager, all too eager to amplify the action.

Don’t miss the excitement – theater demos will run every hour at Booth #16055, and all those interested can register for free for tickets and showtimes at the booth.

In addition, the upcoming Shadow Labyrinth release will be highlighted during the panel “A Platform for Adventure: MetroidVania Game Makers Roundtable.” Mark your calendar for May 10 at 2pm ET, and make sure to make your way to the Albatross Theater come showtime.

Community-Driven Sandbox MMORPG BitCraft Online Launching in Steam Early Access June 20

Pioneering studio Clockwork Labs announced that their ambitious community-driven MMORPG BitCraft Online is set to launch in Early Access on June 20 – and will be open-source!

The team behind BitCraft Online announced that they will open-sourcing their title in order to be more accessible. This, in turn, will empower players, hobbyists, and developers to collaborate and contribute to this expansive in-game ecosystem. 

In addition, this gesture sets out to reaffirm BitCraft Online’s commitment to fostering community-driven creativity, inviting worldwide developers to engage directly with the technology to help shape this title.

Tyler Cloutier, co-founder of Clockwork Labs, said the following:

“The ethos behind BitCraft Online has always been about one core principle: collaboration. This is a massive in game-ecosystem, where we encourage players to work together to build towns, cities or even empires. 

So to truly empower our community, it was important to ensure that the game would be open-source, allowing players to express themselves in their own unique way.

SEGA and JAKKS Pacific DC x Sonic the Hedgehog Toy Crossover Coming This Fall

Set to release this fall, SEGA is partnering with JAKKS Pacific and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products for a new toy line inspired by the DC x Sonic the Hedgehog crossover event.

This toy line will pay host to fan-favorite characters from both franchises. Expect to see icons Sonic, Shadow, and Tails alongside DC Justice League members like Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman.

All of these heroes have been reimagined in bold, action-packed crossover designs. Fans can expect articulated action figures, vehicles, and plushes that tap into the heroic energy and visual excitement of each series.

Kevin Feely, Vice President of Marketing at JAKKS Pacific, said the following:

“JAKKS is honored to be at the forefront of producing toys for this historic entertainment crossover.
